Colorado State University is proud to present its first annual CSU DuPont Pioneer Plant Science Symposium entitled: “Drought Tolerance in Agriculture and Natural Ecosystems”. The scope of this event will cover plant breeding and wild land initiatives to mitigate drought in a changing climate.
The goal of this one-day research symposium is to assemble scientists, students, and industry professionals to discuss the latest research surrounding drought tolerance in agricultural and natural ecosystems. This event is part of the DuPont Pioneer Sciences Symposia Series, which provides an opportunity for the next generation of scientists to connect with public and private industry professionals in a student-organized symposium.
All are welcome to attend this free all-day event in the North Ballroom of the Lory Student Center on the Colorado State University main campus. Students are encouraged to apply to present their research orally and/or as part of the poster session (see “Abstract” tab). Students from outside universities who are presenting their research may apply for travel grants (see “Travel Award” tab).
